About the Role
The Sales & Marketing Manager drives new client acquisition and brand growth by developing and executing lead generation strategies for Vellum’s healthcare contracting and pricing advisory services. This role blends digital marketing, outbound sales, and relationship management to build awareness, convert leads, and nurture long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-channel lead generation campaigns (LinkedIn, email, SEO, paid ads).
- Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline of healthcare and life sciences prospects.
- Design outreach sequences, email templates, and campaign calendars.
- Collaborate with leadership to define value propositions and target segments.
- Manage CRM updates, reporting, and funnel metrics from lead to close.
- Support proposal creation, presentations, and client onboarding communications.
- Track ROI on campaigns and continuously refine approach using analytics.
- Represent Vellum in webinars, conferences, and digital events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, sales, or business development.
- Proven track record in generating and converting leads within consulting or SaaS sectors.
- Strong understanding of digital channels including LinkedIn, Google Ads, and email automation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a consultative selling approach.
- Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Preferred Experience
- Experience marketing to healthcare, life sciences, or enterprise procurement audiences.
- Familiarity with pricing, contracting, or supply chain services.
- Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and campaign performance analytics.
